Frequently Asked Questions
No. Bright Deal movers do not charge extra for large items; they are simply part of the move and are charged the same way as the rest. Our movers are professionally trained to handle all your belongings regardless of size.
We advise customers to move plants themselves because often plants may not make it in the healthiest condition due to weather changes, lack of sunlight or not being watered while in transit. Bright Deal Movers do not assume responsibility for damage to plants.
We provide moving supplies for a fee and on request some customers may prefer to pack themselves and have us move them only. We have a selection of moving packages please consult our moving specialist about what package may work for you best.
For long-distance moves, we require payment before van is unloaded unless prior arrangements were made with your move manager. Acceptable payment methods are cash, certified cheque, visa, master card, or Money order.
Bright deal is committed to honoring the move arrangement made when booking, we show up and protect your furniture and other belongings to ensure your move is done safely, we also protect your floor to minimize debris that come from outside and continue with the move. Rain, snow, or heat extremes.
The earlier the better, we are more likely to meet your preferred dates and times when you book early generally 4 to 6 weeks prior is advisable but we understand things may not always go according to plan and we’ll do our best to accommodate your last-minute moving needs.
Many factors can affect the length of time it takes for your shipment to travel from your origin to your destination: the distance, weight of the shipment, access, government regulations,customs, weather, road conditions, need for ferries during transit. Please allow extra time and be flexible when planning your moving schedule.
Upon arrival at the destination, the driver will provide you with an inventory check-off listing. Each item is checked off as it is delivered. Any discrepancies or damage is to be noted for claims where applicable.
Hazardous materials, flammable materials, or explosive materials are not allowed.
